"Lovers in a Dangerous Time" is a wonderful movie in all respects. It is written by, directed by and stars May Charters and Mark Hug. I saw it a couple of nights ago and it still rings in my head. I wept, I laughed and loved all the characters. I want to see it again and again and that never happens these days. There's so much to identify with there. We've all had our first loves lost and found from time to time, but this goes deeper in a gentle way that is so unselfish and innocent. It talks about not only lovers, but brothers, home, family and a changing planet. The last time I felt this way about a movie was when I was in my early 20s and would go and watch Louis Malle and Eric Rohmer. It's been playing festivals and winning prizes wherever it goes. If they can't get decent distribution for this there's no justice. Go to their website by clicking on the picture and learn more ...
